ArbLens connects the same way the exchanges intend it to: a read-only API key you create yourself and revoke whenever you like. A key that carries trade or withdrawal scope is rejected at connection time — we cannot place an order, move a coin or reach your account any other way.
Keys are encrypted with AWS KMS before they touch the database and are never returned to the browser. No exchange terms are bent to make this work, and nothing about it puts your account at risk.

What counts as an account?
One API key set on one exchange. Spot, futures, funding and earn wallets behind that key are all read as one account.
What counts as an arbitrage position?
A paired long/short tracked as one net result. Unpaired trades are never limited; history depth is 90 days on Free and full on paid plans.
Can ArbLens trade for me?
No. Keys are read-only and encrypted at rest — if an API key carries trading or withdrawal permissions, we reject it at connection.
Why does Pro need its own proxy?
Shared egress IPs hit exchange rate limits at scale. A dedicated proxy holds your sync at 15s no matter how many accounts you run — or bring your own proxy.
