Connect Bybit to ArbLens
Monitor balances, positions, and transaction history securely using Read-Only API access.
Open API Management
Log in to your Bybit account.
Go to Account → API and click Create New Key.
Select API Key Type
Select System-generated API Keys.
Configure Basic Settings
Select API Transaction and enter a name for your API key. We recommend: ArbLens
Under API Key Permissions, select Read-Only.
For IP restrictions, select No IP restriction.
Bybit states that API keys without IP restrictions expire after 3 months. IP whitelisting is not required for connecting your account to ArbLens.
Configure Trading Permissions
Under Contract, select Unified Trading and keep permissions set to Read-Only.
ArbLens requires read access to: Orders, Positions, USDC Derivatives Trading, Spot, Earn.
Do not enable any trading permissions.
Configure Asset Permissions
Under Assets, keep the following Read-Only permissions enabled: Account Transfer, Subaccount Transfer, Convert, Exchange History.
Make sure Withdrawal remains disabled.
Click Submit.
Complete Security Verification
Enter the verification code sent to your email.
Enter your Google 2FA code and click Next Step.
Copy Your API Credentials
Bybit will display your new API credentials. Copy both the API Key and API Secret.
Click Understood after copying both values.
Your API Secret is displayed only once. Save it securely before closing this window.
Connect Bybit to ArbLens
In ArbLens, click Add CEX Account.
Select Bybit, enter your Label, API Key, and API Secret, then click Save Account.
If the credentials and permissions are correct, you will see ✓ Connection OK.
ArbLens uses your API credentials exclusively to retrieve account information. With Read-Only permissions, ArbLens cannot:
- Execute trades
- Place or cancel orders
- Withdraw funds
- Transfer assets
Your assets always remain under your control.
